Jen Stark Drip Mural




Inspired by artist Jen Stark, 5th grade art made a "Drip Drawing mural".  Working with line, shape, color, pattern and movement, we made the repeating pattern of drips. Thinking about contrast, students were asked to think about what colors look good next to each other and what colors stand out next to one another (for example, black and white).  The drawing purposely hang above one another, making the optical illusion of dripping.
